As the Senior Student Affairs and Enrollment Management Officer for Henderson, Laird will serve on the university’s Strategic Leadership Team and report to the Chief Learning Officer/Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
Henderson chemistry professor Dr. Suzanne Neidhart applied for a Forrest E. Mars. Jr. Chocolate History grant, and learned recently that she will receive $5,500 for the project.
The workshop is a week-long, hands-on experience for students ages 13-18. Participants engage in a variety of studio art activities, including collage, assemblage, fiber arts, and mixed media.
Haven Hughes, a senior from Little Rock, was first runner-up; Teddi-Anne Hulke, a senior from Cabot, was second runner-up. Hulke also won the People’s Choice Award. Blaise Batson of Arkadelphia was crowned Miss HSU Outstanding Teen 2022.
Five performances will be presented beginning Feb. 24 in the Arkansas Hall Studio Theatre
The program on Feb. 5 features student soloists who were selected as winners of a competition held in November.
