UPDATE: Due to weather, the Carol of Lights holiday program will be Monday, December 1 at 6 p.m. in the Garrison Center Ballroom. Luminaries will be on the South Lawn on Tuesday, December 2.
Auto tracking PTZ cameras were recently installed in Henderson’s Education Center that can follow instructors as they move around the room, providing both live video and audio to off-campus viewing locations.
Faculty and students will present a short recital at 10 a.m. with an informal reception following the performance. The program is free and open to the public.
Henderson and Ouachita are joining forces for a massive photo opportunity on November 4 at 12:30 p.m. Reddies, Tigers, and Arkadelphia community members are invited to gather for the photo that will be shared on social media.
Student organizations and groups will host the university’s annual Halloween Trick or Treat event Friday, Oct. 31, on the South Lawn from 5-6:30 p.m.
The introduction of the 19 candidates, followed by the coronation ceremony, will take place during football pre-game festivities on Oct. 18 when the Reddies host Harding University at 1 p.m. at Carpenter-Haygood Stadium.
The authorization will allow Henderson to conduct evaluations "in-house," significantly speeding up the pilot training process.

All performances, which feature students and faculty, are free and open to the public.
Eduardo Maya and Kullen Bookout received the Reconnaissance Commando Badge for their superior skills at advanced camp.
The new complex will enhance the campus, community, and region by providing a versatile space for intramural sports, student activities, community events, and a practice field for the Showband of Arkansas.
Henderson offers associate and bachelor’s degrees in aviation as well as a Master of Business Administration degree with an aviation management focus.
Ratcliff is currently vice-president for intercollegiate athletics at Rogers State University in Claremore, Oklahoma., and had previously served as director of athletics at the University of Arkansas-Monticello.
Enrollment for first-time freshmen increased by 46 percent -- 572 in Fall 2025 compared to 391 in Fall 2024. This represents the largest freshman class since 2019.
The awards were presented during a reception September 2. New faculty members were also introduced to the campus.
