Richardson is a veteran of the renowned Rhythm & Brass chamber ensemble, jazz legend Joe Henderson’s Quintet, the Chicago Jazz Ensemble, and the Brass Band of Battle Creek. He has also appeared with numerous celebrity artists.
Henderson State University will close for the Christmas and New Year holiday Monday, Dec. 23, and reopen Thursday, Jan. 2. Students are currently on winter break and will return for classes on Jan. 13.

The Henderson State University Board of Trustees approved the merger agreement and transition plan to join the Arkansas State University System. The agreement is subject to approval of the ASU Board of Trustees and the Higher Learning Commission, as well as action by the Arkansas General Assembly.
Six performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 14, 15, 16, 18, 21 and 22, in the Arkansas Hall Studio Theatre. 'Angel Street' is a murder mystery set in Victorian-era London.
