Phillip Turner served as Student Government Association president while a student at Henderson State, and is now a corporate attorney in Atlanta.

Horton was the the first African American to receive a degree from Henderson State. His portrait, painted by Ed Martin, will be displayed in Henderson State's Garrison Center.
Scogin graduated from Henderson State in 1989 with a degree in physical education and health (kinesiology) and coaching with a minor in history. She also holds a Masters in Educational Leadership K-12. Scogin lives in Montgomery, Alabama.
Dr. Maria Markham, a two-time graduate of Henderson State, is director of the Arkansas Division of Higher Education.
The newlyweds, who met at Henderson, now live in Atlanta, Georgia. Ralph is a financial advisor with Edward Jones Investments, and Alexis is a nurse in the emergency department at Emory University Hospital.

Steve remains very active as an alumnus as a member of the HSU Alumni Board of Directors, a life member of the H Club, is involved in the Greater Hot Springs Alumni Chapter, and was recently elected to serve as president of the HSU Alumni Association.
