Reddie Villas is an apartment complex that houses 240 students. Reddie Villas is located on the north campus adjacent to the HSU softball field and is a short walk away from the Henderson State University sports complex. This complex includes five buildings plus a clubhouse and provides living accommodations for upperclassmen only.
In each fully furnished apartment you will find four private bedrooms, four private bathrooms, a kitchen, laundry room, living room and balcony. Students residing at this complex have the opportunity to register for a lease length for the academic year or academic year plus summer. If you are looking for social opportunities, the clubhouse provides access to play ping-pong, foosball, billiards or you can just relax and watch a little television. In the clubhouse you also will find the entrance to the swimming pool and have access to the computer lab. Residency in Reddie Villas requires a minimum 2.75 Henderson cumulative GPA.
Your New Home
Your private bedroom is furnished with a full size bed with built-in dresser, large walk-in closet, stylish desk and chair, window blinds, cable TV connection, and data port for internet connection. You will also find a USB connection port in one of the wall outlets for ease when needing to charge your electronic devices.
Your spacious kitchen is fully equipped with beautiful granite counter tops and state of the art stainless steel appliances that include a dishwasher, garbage disposal, stove, microwave and refrigerator. Around the kitchen bar you will find two stylish bar stools and plenty of open space to study or hang out while cooking dinner. The large open layout of the living room contains a comfy couch and chair along with a coffee table, end table and entertainment stand. You will also be able to kick back on the couch and watch your favorite show on a wall mounted flat screen television.
Staff
Five university staff members live at Reddie Villas. In four of the buildings you will find one resident assistant (RA), a carefully selected and specially trained student with the experience and knowledge to help you get acclimated to the university and apartment life. An Area Coordinator lives in the fifth building on property and is there to provide any additional help you may need. The Area Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management of the property.
