Financial Aid

Costs & Fees

Henderson calculates tuition on a per hour rate. For the 2023-2024 academic year:

  • In-state tuition per hour is $247 for undergraduates.
  • Out-of-state tuition per hour is $339 for undergraduates.

Our cost and fees sheet shows how your tuition and fees are broken down.

At Henderson, we work to make the college experience more affordable. How can you work to connect your academic aspirations with a successful career? Financial aid, including scholarships and tuition payment programs can help.

Undergraduate Cost of Attendance

A student's Cost of Attendance (COA), also referred to as the student's budget, is the estimated amount it will cost to attend school. Cost of Attendance is determined using rules established by federal and state laws. This number is used by the school to determine the maximum amount of financial aid (loans, grants, scholarships, fee-waivers, etc.) a student may receive for that award year. Please note: The cost of attendance does not represent the actual charges on a student's account. Actual charges may be higher, lower, or absent all-together than the charges shown on the COA. For instance, a student living off-campus or with parents will still have an estimated room and board allowance in his/her COA, but would not be charged for room and board by Henderson State University.
