DANTES Subject Standardized Tests (DSST) are exam-based college credit allowing students to demonstrate mastery of college-level material in both introductory (lower-division) and advanced (upper-division) subject areas. Henderson State will accept scores equal to or greater than the minimal passing score indicated on the DSST transcript.
Credit hours will be awarded based on DSST guidelines for exams completed. DSST exams covering subjects considered to be upper division by the university must be evaluated by appropriate academic faculty before counting toward major/minor program requirements.
