May 2020 Commencement - Date-TBD Wells Center Gymnasium
Students completing an Associate, Bachelor or any degree from the Graduate School are encouraged to participate in commencement.
Seating is Limited - Event Tickets Required for Wells Gymnasium Seating
In order to best serve our graduating students and their families, Henderson State University's commencement events will limit seating in the Wells Gymnasium to event ticket holders. Each graduating student will receive six tickets for family and friends when picking-up their cap and gown from the HSU Bookstore. Cap and Gowns will be available beginning Monday, May 4. In addition to the six tickets for family and friends, graduating students will receive an additional ticket for themselves.
Video viewing of commencement will be available in Arkansas Hall. A web link to livestream the events will also be made available prior to May 8.
Other Important Information About Event Ticketing
- Children over the age of three will require a ticket to enter the Wells Gymnasium.
- Do Not Lose Your Ticket Stub - Guests who enter the facility and then leave will not be permitted re-entry without their ticket stub.
Two Commencement Events
- 9 a.m. - College of Business & Teachers College (Graduates and Guests May Begin Arriving at 7 a.m.)
- 12:30 p.m. - College of Arts & Sciences (Graduates & Guests May Begin Arriving at 11:15 a.m.)
Please pay close attention to the signs upon entering the Wells Center. Graduates should proceed immediately to the check-in station upon arrival.
Commencement is a special event for our graduates and their guests. No signs will be allowed in the Wells Center Gymnasium so that we can ensure everyone in the gym can see.
