Most items lost in the library are taken to the Circulation Desk. In some cases, ID must be presented in order to retrieve the item. Periodically, items that have not been retrieved are taken to the HSU Police Department.
Exceptions:
- Drivers licenses, ID card, and credit cards are taken to the HSU Police Department within 24 hours. Library staff will attempt to contact these patrons directly.
- Flash drives are turned over to the library's computer technician for identification. Those identified may be picked up at the Reference Desk.
