Henderson State University regional accreditor is the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The university has maintained continuous accreditation since January 1, 1934. Henderson’s most recent reaffirmation of accreditation was in February 2012. The next reaffirmation visit (comprehensive visit) will occur on November 1 and November 2, 2021.
Preparation continues for the reaffirmation visit by the HLC in November 2021. The criterion committees have been collecting evidence to draft a narrative for each criterion to demonstrate how Henderson meets and exceeds the five criteria for accreditation, assumed practices, and federal compliance requirements.
