SATURDAY, AUGUST 14

First-Year Move-In
Location: Henderson State Campus
Time: 8:00am - 1:00pm
Move-in for the residence halls begins the Saturday before classes start for first-year students. Bring friends and family to help you move your belongings, but we will also have HSU volunteers to help you do that. For more information, contact Residence Life at 870-230-5083.
*Students who participate in band, some athletic teams, and other organizations may have earlier move-in times. Check with your coach or director if you think that applies to you.

FAMILY BON VOYAGE
Location: Campus Dining Hall 
Time: 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM 
An opportunity for family & freshman students to have lunch together before wishing them a bon voyage (send off for families). Lunch for our freshman students' families will be covered by HSU. For more information, please contact 870-230-5289.

REDDIE SPIRIT STICK MAKING PARTY
Location: Wells Center
Time: 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Create your own and/or customize your Reddie Spirit Stick to help make noise at athletic events. Blank spirit sticks, paint, glue, and additional supplies are waiting for you.

RED ZONE RALLY & FOOTBALL SHOWCASE
Location: Carpenter-Haygood Stadium
Time: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
You have a Reddie Stick now, so come and learn the chants along with the HSU Reddie cheerleaders and Pom Squad while watching our Reddie Football showcase.

DRIVE-IN MOVIE
Location: Commuter Parking Lot (Behind Greek Leadership Center)
Time: 9:00 PM
Enjoy a movie from the comfort of your car at the Welcome Week Drive-In Movie. No car, no worries. Chairs will be provided for you. Individual pizzas will be provided to the first 100 students. For more information, please contact 870-230-5289.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 15

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT
Location: Garrison Center Grand Ballroom
Time: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
While you may be new to campus, we still want our Reddies to make a strong impact on our community. We will gather in the Grand Ballroom to make toys for our humane society dogs, write and send thank you cards to our veterans, write cards to the residents of our local nursing home, as well as put together hygiene packages for our students in the local middle school. Registration is not required, but you must be an HSU student to participate. For more information, please contact 870-230-5289.

GET TO KNOW ESPORTS
Location: Garrison Center Banquet Room
Time: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Esports is competitive, organized gaming that has taken the world by storm. According to CNN, Esports have grown into a multibillion dollar industry with millions of fans. HSU is honored to have an esports team. We would love for you to come and meet their members, as well as learn how to join. HSU esports is but another pathway for you to optimize your Reddie experience!

NERF WARS
Location: Charles D. Dunn Student Recreation Center
Time: 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM

HELP A REDDIE
Location: Outside of Campus Dining Hall, Huie Library & Quad
Time: 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Stop by any of our three stations to get the answers you need. Our Volunteers can help with directions, building codes, academic and administrative services information, class locations and many other issues Reddie Students may encounter in their first two class days. Our Volunteers will be ready to Help a Reddie! This event is hosted by the Student Government Association.

STUDENT ORGANIZATION FAIR & ICE CREAM SOCIAL
Location: Garrison Center Grand Ballroom
Time: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
This is one of the best opportunities to get involved in campus life at Henderson State. Student Organizations set up displays and have members on site talk to visitors one on one about what their organization does on campus. Involvement in co-curricular experiences is one of the most important parts of having a successful college career! You will make friends, learn all about HSU, eat some ice cream, and develop invaluable skills you will use in life beyond HSU. PINE TREE ASSEMBLY
Location: Arkansas Hall
Time: 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Come be inspired and learn how to be the ultimate Reddie at the Pine Tree Speech. This is an annual tradition at Henderson State University you do not want to miss. We will be live streaming it through our Henderson YouTube channel for our guests who can not make it all the way here. WATERMELON FEAST & KARAOKE COMPETITION
Location: Quad
Time: 8:30 PM - 10:30 PM
Hosted by the Student Activities Board, this event you do not want to miss. Come enjoy some watermelon and stay for the fun. If you know and enjoy doing karaoke, then this is the event for you. JIM WAND - HYPNO SHOW
Location: Arkansas Hall

One of most attended events during Welcome week at Henderson State University for the last three decades. Dr. Jim Wand has hypnotized hundreds of Reddies over the years. RSVP through Reddie Link/Corq App is required. We have limited seating at each show, so make sure you RSVP today. This event is hosted by the Student Activities Board.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 18

COOKOUT ON THE QUAD
Location: Quad
Time: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Hosted by the Spiritual and Religious Organizations. This cook-out will give you an opportunity to meet members of Chi Alpha, Baptist Collegiate Ministry, Wesley Foundation, Missionary Baptist Students Fellowship and Angelic Voices of Christ. It will also give you an opportunity to know how you can get involved with any of these student organizations. In case of rain it will be held in the Grand Ballroom. KICKBALL TOURNAMENT
Location: Clyde Berry Field (Baseball)

Join us for another fun event during Welcome Week. Play kickball against faculty/ staff members, or against other Reddie students. We will serve street tacos and churros. Location: Outside Reddie Bookstore

Dance with your friends and watch as members of sororities and fraternities stroll through with DJ Drewster.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 20

COVID VACCINE CLINIC
Location: Henderson Street
Time: 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care has been scheduled to be on campus on August 20th at the Street Fair from 5:30pm - 8:00 pm. They will be providing the Pfizer Covid-19 Vaccine for those 12 years of age and older. No registration is required. For more information contact Tami Arnold, RN at arnoldt@hsu.edu or 870-230-5102.

HENDERSON STREET FAIR
