The mission of the Testing Center is to promote and maintain a professional and secure atmosphere when administering various examinations and proctoring services. Our testing center works to promote the intellectual growth of our students, faculty, staff and the public. The Testing Center is located at Henderson State University in the Caplinger Airway Science Academic Center, Room 125.
Henderson's Testing Center coordinates the administrations of many tests:

- ACT Residual Test
- Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI TEAS) Test
- Castle Worldwide Exams
- College-Level Examination Program (CLEP)
- Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
- Independent Study Tests
- Major Fields Exams (MFT)
- Miller Analogies Test (MAT)
Our testing personnel can assist students in acquiring information on tests that are not given at HSU. Our center also provides a public service by offering computer-based and/or paper-pencil testing services.
Two computer testing centers, a Prometric Testing Center (PTC) and a PSI/CATS Testing Center, are also located on the first floor of Caplinger. Through Prometric Testing, our students can take the GRE, PPST, and TOEFL on the computers. Certification and licensing test are also given in the PTC. FAA exams are administered in the PSI/CATS Testing Center. Our students and community can take their FAA exams by appointment throughout the week.
The Testing Center strives to provide students a central location for their testing needs as well as a comfortable testing environment. The center also has the responsibility to protect the security and integrity of tests entrusted to them by the testing companies.

Driving Directions
The Henderson State University Testing Center is located in the James T. Caplinger Airway Science Academic Center on Hwy 7 (also Hwy 67 and 10th St) on the Henderson State University Campus in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. From Interstate 30, take Exit 78. If you are traveling from the west, make a right toward Henderson State University. If traveling from the east, make a left. Follow Highway 7 going south for approximately 4 miles. Go under the Pedestrian Overpass Bridge, then take the first left into the Caplinger parking lot.
