Center for Career Development

How We Help Students & Alumni

We Are Here For You!

The Center for Career Development is focused on student success. We define student success with the following equation:

Academics + Jobs = Student Success

We believe that students attend college to learn academics specific to their major, but truthfully, the academics are only half of the process. To truly be successful, students need the opportunities to network and further develop their soft skills so that they can ultimately land the career of their dreams. To assist students with reaching true student success, we offer free services and support through the Center for Career Development.

Some of our top services are outlined below.

Career Development Canvas Course

The Center for Career Development offers a FREE online course for all Henderson State University students. Students are allowed to work at their own pace and navigate through the following Modules:

Additionally, by completing the course, students have an opportunity to earn a micro-credential entitled, Henderson State University Career Ready Badge through Portfolium. This Badge can be displayed on all pieces of the student's application packet.
