Visit the Information Desk inside the Garrison Center to:

  • create or replace a broken/outdated student ID
  • replace a lost student ID ($10 charge)
  • make sure you're able to swipe into your residence building (if living on campus)
  • gain access to certain buildings and rooms on campus (if authorized by proper sources)

The Martin B. Garrison Activity and Conference Center serves as the central location for scheduling of campus activities for Henderson State University. The Garrison Center, as it is more commonly known as, serves as the home for the school newspaper, The Oracle, the school yearbook, The Star, the campus radio station, KSWH, the Reddie Bookstore, and the Reddie Cafe, featuring Starbucks and Chick-fil-a. Also located in the Garrison Center is the Center for Career Development, the Student Engagement Center, a commuter lounge, an eSports lounge area and a computer lab for student use.

The conference areas provide ample meeting space for student organizations, faculty and staff meetings and off-campus meetings. Our Grand Ballroom can be used for catered events along with meetings. There is also a 300-seat lecture hall for guest speakers and student activities. The Garrison Center is also home to two racquetball courts for students, faculty and staff to enjoy.
