Buendia, who majored in communication, works for an online cloud technology designing experiences between humans and computers.

Amber Taggard is a professional organizer and owner of The Organizer Chicks, serving northwest Arkansas and the Kansas City metro area. Her company helps people who feel like they aren't getting the "best bang for their buck out of their spaces."

The university had set a 2019 goal of $2.2 million and received $2,278,580. Also, the number of alumni donors reached an all-time high.

Katrina Harvey graduated from Henderson in 2008 with a B.B.A. in accounting, and earned her MBA from Henderson in 2009.

Clawson credits his high school basketball coach, Henderson graduate Jim Atwell, for choosing to attend Henderson. "Coach Atwell was the gentleman who taught me how to tape an ankle."

Michelle Ortiz attended Henderson State from 1992-1996, majoring in nursing. She now specializes in forensic nursing, focusing on sexual assault and strangulation.
