BAPTIST HEALTH MEDICAL CENTER ARKADELPHIA
Scholarships are available for students willing to agree to post graduation employment. Work responsibilities

HEALTH RESOURCES & SERVICES ADMINISTRATION (HRSA): Tuition, reasonable
costs (books, clinical supplies and laboratory fees) and a monthly stipend of @$1,098
Eligibility: Enrolled as a full or part-time student in an accredited institution
U.S. citizen or national
Free of any federal judgment liens
Free from existing service commitments
Not in default of any federal debt
Commitment: The participant must sign a contract obligating the participant to serve no less than 2 years,
on a full-time basis, at a health facility designated by the NSP as having a critical nursing
shortage.

LITTLE ROCK BLACK NURSES ASSOCIATION OF ARKANSAS, INC.

Programs in Psychiatric Nursing (PIPN): $250-500
Eligibility:
1. Enrolled in an NLN Accredited School of Nursing
2. Current grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or above
Process:
1. Complete the application form to answer: (obtain from Nursing Dept. Secretary)
• Why you are interested in psychiatric nursing.
• Your service or contribution in any mental health related field.
• Need for assistance with educational funds.
Nomination:
A candidate may be nominated by any nurse who is an employee of the PIPN affiliated
hospitals (St. Vincent, Arkansas State Hospital, Baptist Health, University of AR for
Medical Sciences, or Central AR Veterans Health System)
Nomination packet is to include:
a. Letter of nomination from the PIPN affiliated hospital
b. Letter of recommendation from a supervisor, advisor, or instructor
c. Official transcript
d. Compelted scholarship application form and biographical data form
Deadline: March 10 of year of application
Award: Recognized at Heart and Key Ceremony and the PIPN Spring Workshop.

 

SAINT JOSEPH’S REGIONAL HEALTH CENTER
Scholarship of up to $1500 per semester. Priority given to upperclassmen. Scholarship requires agreement
