Henderson schedules community classes

ARKADELPHIA -- Henderson State University’s Ellis College of Arts and Sciences will offer five free classes for the Arkadelphia community this spring.

• On Feb. 17, Dr. Drew Smith, director of international studies, will present Cultural Traditions-American Adjustments.

• Dr. Clint Atchley, professor of English, will lecture on Dashiell Hammett and Hard-Boiled Detective Fiction on Feb. 24.

• On March 3, Dr. Travis Langley, professor of psychology, will discuss Batman in His Belfry: Psychology of a Superhero.

• A class on March 10 will feature Chris Guyer, instructor of biology, discussing Uses of Medicine in the Bible.

• On March 17, Greg Gibson, instructor of English, will present William Hogarth and the Birth of the Modern Political Cartoon.

All classes will meet in Reynolds Science Center, Room 127, at 4 p.m.
