Chancellor’s List (4.00 Semester GPA)
The Chancellor’s list is calculated based only on credits completed fall/spring semesters and only with those grades submitted on time by course instructors. Grades submitted after the deadline will not count towards the Chancellor’s list. Students must complete a minimum of 12 hours during the semester to qualify.
Honor Roll (3.50 Semester GPA)
Honor roll is calculated based only on credits completed fall/spring semesters and only with those grades submitted on time by course instructors. Grades submitted after the deadline will not count towards the honor roll. Students must complete a minimum of 12 hours during the semester to qualify.
Distinction at Graduation
Students may graduate with distinction status according to the following criteria. Distinction status is determined based on the cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) at the start of the student’s final semester. Students must earn a minimum of 60 hours in residence from Henderson State University in order to qualify to graduate with distinction.
- Summa Cum Laude = 3.85 – 4.00 Cumulative GPA
- Magna Cum Laude = 3.75 – 3.849 Cumulative GPA
- Cum Laude = 3.50 – 3.749 Cumulative GPA
