Grade Point Average (GPA)

GPA is calculated by dividing the number of grade points earned by the number of credit hours completed. All credit hours identified with “( )” on transcripts are not used in calculation of cumulative GPA. Transfer credits accepted by Henderson State University are not calculated within cumulative GPA.

Appropriate Use of CR (Credit) and NC (No Credit) Grades

Students may not receive a grade of "CR" or "NC" for courses graded "A-F." Only for courses evaluated as credit/no-credit or pass/fail can a grade of "CR" or "NC" be awarded.
