Vice President for External Affairs
The mission of the Henderson State University External Affairs division is to develop and promote educational, economic, and community growth for the people of southwest Arkansas.
Henderson State University is reaching out to non-traditional students through high school concurrent/dual enrollment, articulation agreements, on-site/online class offerings as well as continuing adult education and vocational training offered through the HSU Community Education center in conjunction with the two-year schools.
Henderson is committed to working with the two-year institutions in Arkansas to ensure seamless transitions for students wishing to receive their baccalaureate degrees. Additionally, Henderson is partnering with our local and extended community by encouraging students, faculty, and staff to become involved in community service and civic engagement. A specific focus will be directed towards economic development in southwest Arkansas through collaboration with regional educational institutions, industries and businesses.
