Henderson’s Huie Library houses a collection of nearly 250,000 volumes and a current periodical subscription list of more than 1100 titles.  Additionally, users have access to nearly 20,000 full-text periodical titles through database vendors EbscoHost, ProQuest, and LexisNexis. These databases are available to all HSU students and faculty from on campus or off at http://library.hsu.edu/.  The online catalog, which lists the holdings for both Henderson’s Huie Library and Ouachita Baptist University’s Riley-Hickingbothan Library, is available at http://iii.hsu.edu/.  Students at the two universities have reciprocal library privileges.  Huie Library has thirty-six computers for student use, two computers for community patrons, five study rooms, and a student art gallery
