Financial Aid
Undergraduate Catalog 2006-2008 PRINT PAGE
A student's financial aid package is based on his or her "level of financial need.'' This is the difference between the student's estimated educational budget and the personal resources on which he or she can reasonably be expected to draw for contribution to that budget. This need level is determined for the University byguidelines approved by the U.S. Office of Education and is based on information on a current needs analysis as reported by the student and, if applicable, his or her parents. The needs analysis worksheet is available from high school guidance counselors, the Henderson Office of Financial Aid or www.fafsa.ed.org. The needs analysis form should be submitted by March 1 for priority consideration for all available programs.
Many of the financial aid programs available to Henderson students come from a series of programs funded by the U.S. Office of Education. In administering these programs, the University is subject to availability of funds and to guidelines issued by the Office of Education. The University also funds several institutional scholarship programs.
