Modified Grading System
Undergraduate Catalog 2006-2008 PRINT PAGE
Within the first two weeks of a semester or the first week of a summer school session, a student may elect to take for credit/non credit one course each semester or term which is not specified for the degree. If the actual grade is "A", "B", or "C", a "CR" will be recorded on the transcript which will provide for credit; an "NC" will be recorded if the grade is "D" or "F." The "CR" or "NC" will not be utilized in computing grade point average. A student may elect to return to the traditional grading system up until the last day of the regular class. The signatures of the instructor and the Registrar are required.
A student who wishes to enroll for classroom instruction only will pay the regular fee and receive a grade of "NC", which does not provide for college credit.
