Purpose:
Henderson State University is a LaserGrade Testing Center delivering FAA tests to qualified candidates.
Restrictions:
Candidates must meet FAA requirements and have an FAA approved authorization to take the tests.
Procedures:
For Henderson Aviation Students:
- Schedule a test date in CAS125.
- Arrange for payment: a) A candidate may pay the $60.00 test fee from his/her student aviation account at the Business Office, the airport, or in CAS 135; OR b) may pay the test administrator on test day.
- Obtain an authorization to test from HSU aviation faculty.
- Take the receipt and authorization form to the test administrator on or before the test appointment.
Other Aviation candidates:
- Call (870)230-5470 to schedule an appointment to take the FAA test.
- Bring $80.00 (check, money order, or cash) test fee and authorization to test to his/her appointment.
- Registration form can be filled out at that time or a completed registration form can be faxed to (870) 230-5484.
On Test Day:
- Present identification with signature, picture or a physical description, birth date, and address (driver's license, pilot's license or medical certificate). Also bring test fee and authorization to test form.
- Bring only FAA authorized test materials: rulers, straight-edges, scales, conversion tables, navigation computers, log sheets, protractors, plotters, and non-programmable calculators.
- A score report will be printed out at the end of the test. We can not give duplicate score reports.
