Master of Business Administration

Henderson State University's Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is a popular program preparing and positioning executives for leadership and management positions in business, government, healthcare and numerous other industries. The Henderson State MBA is fully accredited by AACSB, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The 30-hour MBA program consists of several general business courses providing students with the broad knowledge needed to be successful in a business career. In addition, advisors work with each student to find the electives that best compliment and prepare students for specific professions.

The 30-hour program is offered as

  • General MBA
  • MBA with a concentration in Accounting
  • MBA with a concentration in Public and Nonprofit Management.

Cost

Henderson's MBA program is affordable; students can complete the 30-hour program within one calendar year. The course schedule is flexible to allow students to enroll on a full-time or part-time basis. Students may start the program in the fall, spring, or summer semesters, and it's possible to complete the program by taking only evening and late afternoon classes. Flexible options are explored to increase the convenience for students to continue their education.

The School of Business offers graduate courses in Hot Springs and on-line. Through a rotation system with courses in Arkadelphia, Hot Springs, and on-line, students can complete the requirements for the MBA degree from HSU on a part-time basis in just two years. Most of these courses are offered in the evening to allow working professionals the opportunity to pursue a graduate degree.
