The School of Business is committed to preparing students for:

Faculty are committed to excellence in teaching and introducing students to research techniques, while leading and directing them as they develop skills in effective communication, general management knowledge, technology, and  specific knowledge in selected fields of study. 
Ethical values and cultural issues are a focus of all studies in the School of Business. 
The School of Business offers both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree programs that provide students the opportunity to prepare for successful business careers and pursue further graduate study.  
  • The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree provides for a major in  Accounting or Business Administration. Students choosing the Business Administration major may concentrate in:  Business Information Systems, Finance, Management, or Marketing. 
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) for students desiring graduate work in Business.

All Business programs are accredited by
AACSB International, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

AVIATION:  The School of Business offers the only university-level aviation program in Arkansas. With great facilities, flight simulators, and high tech classrooms, our aviation program provides students with the skills and training needed to make your career soar. There is a blend of excellent classroom training and hands-on experience. Students earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation in the areas of Maintenance Management, Aviation Management, and Professional Pilot.  

SBTDC:  The School of Business is the location of one of seven state-wide offices of the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC). The HSU ASBTDC is a university-based economic development program of the USA Small Business Administration and provides assistance to entrepreneurs and small businesses throughout the ten counties surrounding HSU.
