Mathematics Mission Statement

The mission of the bachelor of science program is to impart the knowledge, practice, and communication of mathematics to our students.

Our students learn algebra, calculus, differential equations, discrete mathematics, geometry, probability, statistics, and more to prepare them for careers in education, graduate studies, industry, and statistics. The mathematics faculty encourages our students to creatively use technology and communicate mathematical ideas algebraically, graphically, numerically, and verbally.
