Planning, budgeting, and enrollment
Henderson State University’s Wind Ensemble will perform its final concert of the spring semester at 4 p.m. April 14 in the Arkansas Hall auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.
The performance will feature Dr. Jennifer Amox, assistant professor of flute & music theory at Henderson, on Peter Senchuk’s new Concerto for Flute and Wind Ensemble.
The program includes:
- Toccata Marziale by Ralph Vaughan Williams, with guest conductor Dr. Shaun R. Popp.
- Concerto for Flute and Wind Ensemble by Peter Senchuk, featuring Amox on flute
- La Oreja de Oro by Mariano San Miguel
- English Dances, Set. 1, Op. 27 by Malcom Arnold
- Ash by Jennifer Jolley
- Galop from “Moscow, Cheremushky” by Dmitri Shostakovich.
