Job Description:    The Talent Search Education Advisor will work with 500 participants who are at least 11 years of age but no more than 27 years of age.  The Education Advisor is responsible for the daily academic and social activities of the Talent Search program. Overall responsibilities include the identification, recruitment, enrollment, assessment, retention, graduation, tracking, and college enrollment of Talent Search participants.

The Education Advisor must have at least two years’ experience working with disadvantaged students. The Education Advisor must be open to and have the ability to work with faculty and students, create and facilitate group workshops in academic advising, financial aid, college selection/application, financial literacy, and career counseling.

Salary:     Contract is for a federal grant position starting October 1, 2018 and is a nin,e-month and two summer term position.  Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.  The Talent Search grant is a federally-funded program and is contingent upon new federal grant funding.
