Job Description:  Henderson State University seeks a dynamic, innovative, and visionary individual for the position of University Guest Services Coordinator. Working collaboratively with the Associate Provost of Enrollment Services and Admissions, the coordinator will provide comprehensive event planning for a wide variety of events designed to deliver an excellent experience for our campus guests, including prospective students and their families. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, facility selection, menu planning, transportation and multimedia arrangements; coordination and supervision of the HSU Reddie Ambassador Student Organization; maintain the Department of Enrollment Services and Admissions' master calendar of events in coordination with the university calendar; serve as a liaison with the university community; schedule individual and group campus visits, tours and campus preview days. With oversight, develop comprehensive event budgets, control costs and track expenditures.

At minimum, candidates must have an earned baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher education, at least two years experience in event planning or public relations, and experience working in an educational environment and/or with young adults.  

Salary:  $40,000 to $50,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
