Planning & Arrival

Important Dates: 

• Students who received their F-1 Visa must contact the International Programs Office by December 23, 2009 to declare their intent to attend Henderson in the fall
• Students who plan to attend Henderson in the fall must submit a housing application and fee by December 23, 2009.
• All new international students must arrive for the spring semester on January 7,  no later than 8:00 p.m.  No student can arrive before January 7, and no student can arrive after January 8. New International Student Orientation Weekend will take place January 9-10.  All students are required to attend.  You will receive information when your arrive.
• Once a student has made flight arrangements, he or she MUST fax the Airport Greeting Request to the International Programs Office at 870-230-5419 if they want Henderson staff to greet them at the airport.
• Students who arrive at Little Rock on January 7 before 8:00 p.m. will be greeted by Henderson staff on that day. Students who arrive at Little Rock after 8:00 p.m. on January 7 will need to lodge in a hotel near the airport and phone the Center for International Programs (870-230-5265) to arrange pick-up on January 8.
