Graduate Program

The Masters of Science in Sports Administration is a one or two year program of study. Students who successfully complete the program will be able to use the degree for advancement and promotion in their school athletics, parks and recreation professions and/or sport organizations. The degree will also provide those students a solid background if they choose to continue their graduate studies or to pursue doctoral degrees. Sports Administration





The Educator Preparation Program (EPP) at Henderson State
University is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator
Preparation (CAEP),
www.caepnet.org. This accreditation covers initial teacher preparation programs and advanced educator programs at Henderson State University. However, the accreditation does not include individual education courses that the institution offers to P-12 educators for professional development, re-licensure, or other purposes.

Lacie graduated with a double major in Park and Recreation Management and Travel and Tourism Management. Her minor was Business Administration. Arkansas State Parks jump-started her career, and she has now returned to her home in southwest Louisiana where she is the new Park Superintendent over park operations.
