The mathematician Carl Gauss
referred to mathematics as "the Queen of the Sciences". Some people believe mathematics is just algebra or graphing functions, but it is much more! It is the study of numbers and their operations, interrelations, combinations, generalizations, and abstractions and of space configurations and their structure, measurement, transformations, and generalizations.
