Studio Art Class

Studio Art (B.F.A.)

The HSU Bachelor of Fine Arts Studio program is considered to be one of the best in the state and offers an emphasis in traditional 2-D and 3-D media which includes printmaking, painting, drawing, design, sculpture, ceramics and photography.

Henderson’s faculty is comprised of professional artists who pursue active professional careers as well as their classroom work. This dual role is a means for faculty to stay abreast of the art world trends, to improve their own art skills, and to better prepare students for the challenges they face in establishing professional art careers for themselves.

As a small school, Henderson offers an impressively diverse and well-taught art curriculum and is recognized accordingly throughout the region. It is large enough to be comprehensive and small enough to be genuinely nurturing with its students.
