Getting Started With Financial Aid

 

Apply for Admission Into A Degree Program
Before receiving an award of financial assistance from Henderson State University, you must be admitted into a degree program. Submit an application for admission to the university accompanied by an official copy of your high school record.

Transfer students should forward all official transcripts from previous institutions to the Office of Admissions at Henderson State University, before any financial aid awards can be processed.

Dr. Martin Halpern, professor of history at Henderson State University, has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to teach at the University of Munich in Germany in 2012-13.
The Fulbright Program is the U.S. Government’s flagship program in international educational exchange. It was proposed in 1945 by Sen. J. William Fulbright of Arkansas. The program sends 800 U.S. faculty and professionals abroad each year where they lecture and conduct research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields.
