Commencement Schedule

 May 2013 Commencement Schedule  

Two commencement ceremonies are scheduled for Friday, May 10, 2013, in Wells Center Gymnasium. There will be no rehearsal. Graduates will walk in alphabetical order within their school or college, and are asked to be on time for the line-up, which will be in the auxiliary gym in the Wells Center. Ceremony and line-up are as follows:

• Teachers College, Henderson and School of Business - 3:00 p.m. (line-up at 2:15 p.m.)
• Ellis College of Arts and Sciences - 6:00 p.m. (line-up at 5:15 p.m.)

Guests are respectfully requested by the University to refrain from recognizing individual candidates by applause or other interruptions during the presentation of diplomas. All candidates will be recognized as a group following the conferring of degrees. 

Students who have had a Perkins Loan or HSU Emergency Loan at any time during their four years of college must have an exit interview with Mr. Scott Freeman in the business office. He may be reached by telephone at (870) 230-5113.
