Student Recreation Center

The minute you walk into the Charles D. Dunn Student Recreation Center at Henderson, you’ll see why we think it’s such a big deal. Besides the fact that it’s flat-out gorgeous, the first thing you’ll feel is the energy. It’s everywhere.
The Student Recreation Center was opened in 2009, and is a hub of student activity and campus life.
The facility features:
- An elevated jogging/walking track
- A 12-foot climbing/bouldering wall
- State-of-the-art weight training, cardio, and fitness equipment
- Three basketball/volleyball/soccer courts
- An aerobic studio
- Locker rooms
- Three student lounge spaces
Henderson’s wildly popular Intramural Sports Program also operates out of the Student Recreation Center, as does our Outdoor Recreation Program, which offers equipment rental whenever you feel like channeling your inner outdoorsman (or outdoorswoman).
