Garrison Activity and Conference Center
From academic conferences to private receptions, Henderson has rental facilities and equipment for a wide variety of events. The Garrison Activity and Conference Center has numerous classroom-sized rooms, an outdoor quad area, a café, a lecture hall and a banquet room. Henderson’s Day Gym and Arkansas Hall Auditorium and Studio Theatre are also available for rental. Henderson’s catering provider, Aramark® Classic Fare Catering can provide table skirting and food upon request.
Aramark® Classic Fare Catering
Aramark® Classic Fare Catering provides a complete range of catering services for both on and off campus events. We will work with your budget to assist you in planning your event. Aramark® Classic Fare Catering can easily accommodate groups from 4 to 400, and arrangements can also be made for larger groups--either in Arkadelphia or out of town. Aramark® Classic Fare Catering can provide everything, from doughnuts to formal dinners. In addition to food and beverages, we can provide wait staff, serving equipment, linens, china, silverware, and glassware for events. Themed event planning is available as well. Aramark® Classic Fare Catering will make your event memorable for all the right reasons!
Community Education Center
The Community Education Center, operated by Henderson, is a partnership between educational institutions and local businesses that helps ensure a trained workforce to enhance economic growth. The center, which is located on 6th street in downtown Arkadelphia, contains four classrooms, a computer lab, two conference/meeting rooms, and a fully-equipped maintenance shop for hands-on training to accommodate a variety of training needs. Some of the classes offered include welding, programmable logic controllers, adjustable speed drives and computer skills.
Small Business and Technology Development Center
The Henderson State University Small Business Technology Development Center(SBTDC) offers the public an access point to a national network of more than 1,000 small business development center offices. These offices provide training, research, and consulting services to existing and potential business owners. Regular workshops are offered to the public at the SBTDC office on the first floor of Mooney Hall. As the largest small business assistance program in the United States, the SBTDC network is an invaluable service to new business owners and those looking to network. The center operates as a regional office of the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC).
