Misson

Mission: To increase the number of youths from disadvantaged backgrounds who complete high school and enroll in post-secondary education.

HSU EDUCATIONAL TALENT SEARCH (ETS) is a college preparatory program that targets six-hundred (600) 6th-12th grade students who have the potential for educational success at the post-secondary level; and high school dropouts who want to re-enter and complete their high school equivalency.

ETS staff work with students from the following schools:

    Bauxite High School
    Bismarck School District
    Gurdon School District
    Lake Hamilton Middle School
    Magnet Cove High School
    Malvern School District
    Arkadelphia Adult Education Center

  • Information on post-secondary education 
  • ACT preparation 
  • Exposure to college campuses 
  • Academic, financial, or career counseling 
  • Information on student financial assistance 
  • Assistance in completing college admissions and  financial aid applications 
  • Cultural activities and events 
  • Assistance with high school completion
