Spring community classes scheduled
Feb. 1, 2013
Henderson State University’s Ellis College of Arts and Sciences will offer five free classes for the Arkadelphia community this spring.
• On Feb. 14, Dr. Maryjane Dunn, assistant professor of Spanish, will present Following the Stars to Santiago.
• Dr. Wayne McGinnis, professor of English, will lecture on Historical Aspects of the Game of Golf on Feb. 21.
• On Feb. 28, science faculty members Dr. Martin Campbell, Dr. Vince Dunlap, Dr. Tommy Finley and Dr. Allison Harris will discuss the 2012 Nobel Prize winners.
• A class on March 7 will feature Dr. Mary Beth Trubitt discussing an upcoming archeological dig in the Ouachita National Forest.
• On March 14, Dr. David Bateman and Dr. Vince Dunlap will present Antibiotic Resistance: Are You Doing Your Part to Prevent It?
All classes will meet in Reynolds Science Center, Room 127, at 4 p.m.
