Assessment Team Assessment Plan Committee
Meeting Minutes

Present: Pam Ligon, co-chair, Debra Coventry, Joyce Shepherd, and Bob Yehl

Absent: Wrenette Tedder, co-chair

Next Meeting: TBA

The mission and vision statement for the Office of Assessment was emailed to the committee members.

The committee completed formulating a mission statement for the Assessment Team Assessment Plan.

The Assessment Team, under the auspices of the Office of Assessment, seeks to create an effective culture of assessment among faculty, staff, students and other affected constituents.

Although the goals and objectives are a work in progress, the committee felt the following three goals were worth considering:

I. Institutional participation in the assessment process
     A. All Units will submit an assessment plan in Tracdat
     B. All units will close the loop
II. Education of stakeholders in assessment process
     A. Workshops
     B. Surveys
III. Annual review of unit assessment plans

No future meeting was discussed.
