On-Campus Interviews

The On-Campus Interview Program (OCI) at Henderson State University is offered as a means to attract qualified candidates for internship, summer and full-time career opportunities. Our program is offered during the Fall and Spring academic semesters. There is no fee to conduct on-campus interviews.

OCI Request Form

Employers may download and fax a completed OCI Request Form to schedule an on-campus interview visit. The fax number is 870-230-5336. Upon receipt of a completed request for we will confirm your reservation date(s) within 24 hours.

Please note: Requests will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

OCI Essentials

The standard interview schedule generally consists of one to thirteen, 30-minute interviews beginning at 8:30 a.m. and concluding at 4:00 p.m. with a one hour lunch break (Employer schedules can be customized as needed).

The Center for Career Development will provide the room, and A/V and computer equipment, if requested.

Career Development will also advertise your interview date to students through targeted mass e-mail to students and faculty, flyers distributed on campus, the Career Development webpage, The Pulse 99.9 FM (HSU's radio station) and word-of-mouth. If you would like to publicize your visit in our student newspaper, email the Oracle at oracle@hsu.edu or call 870-230-5221.
We will mail you a confirmation letter, directions to the Center for Career Development, a campus map, and a parking permit. We also provide complimentary coffee, water, and/or sodas during your visit with us. We will fax or email a copy of the interview schedule prior to the interview date.
We ask that you arrive at the Center for Career Development at least fifteen minutes prior to your first interview. We will provide you with a copy of the interview schedule, an evaluation, a Job Offer Form, and the candidate's resume.
