Henderson State University, in collaboration with the Dawson Education Cooperative, may offer certain graduate courses each semester via compressed video to sites at DeQueen / Mena Education Cooperative at Gillham, Southwest Education Cooperative at Hope, South Central Educational Cooperative at Camden. Each receiving site must enroll a minimum of five graduate students in order to offer the course at that site. All faculty are approved by the Graduate Council and have received training in the use of interactive teaching technology. Facilities, equipment, and computers are available at each site to support the program, including network conferencing, e-mail listserv, internet resources, and multimedia presentation software. Henderson State University works with media services at each Education service Cooperative to provide hard copies of books and other materials.
