**ENG 3313 - Review Composition

*Students with a score of 25 or higher on the English and Reading sections of the ACT (or equivalent test) will be awarded credit for ENG 1463 (Freshman English A) after completion of 15 hours at Henderson with a 2.00 or higher grade point average and ENG 1473 (Freshman English B) with a grade of “C” or better.

**Students can exempt ENG 3313 (Review Composition) by scoring a minimum score of 4.00 on the Essay Writing section of the CAAP, or by earning a combined composite score of at least 3.00 on the Essay Writing portion, AND a minimum score of 60 on the Writing Skills portion. Education majors may use the Praxis 1 Writing Test with a score of 173 or higher for exemption.

SOCIAL SCIENCE – 12 Hours
A maximum of 3 hours from any one area of social science may be used, except that a maximum of 9 hours may be in history.
