     Video Demo's
     Help Fuction

Many of you are now using Microsoft Office 2007 – because you have received a new computer or because you have updated the computer you are currently using.  Office 2007 has a much improved appearance over Office 2003.  Please take a moment to view each of the following video demo’s.  They will help you to familiarize yourself with the basics of each product.  They are very short; but very informative.

To view a video demo of each product; click on the link after the product name (or cut and paste the link into your browser):

About the F1 Key - To get quick help on how to do a specific task, press the F1 key and enter your question in the search box.  Office 2007 has a much improved help function which includes video demonstrations.  For example, if you type “Mail merge” and add “Demo” in the help search box you will find a video demo on how to do a mail merge.

Click on the following link to go to the Word 2003 to 2007 reference guide (The link may take a few seconds to open).  If you have trouble finding something in 2007 and you can remember where it was in 2003 then all you have to do is click on the item in this interactive site and it will give you a cross reference from Word 2003 to 2007.  This is VERY handy to have.

Remember, Office 2007 is backward and forward compatible.  You can open 03 in 07 and 07 in 03.  If you are attempting to open an Office 2007 document in Office 2003, you may be prompted to download compatibility pack.  If this does not happen and you are not able to open the document, go to the following link and download the converter pack.  This is a one time install.  You do not have to do this each time you want to open a document.
