Who Takes the CAAP:
Henderson students with 45 to 60 hours of credit (excluding remedial hours) are flagged to take the CAAP. Transcripts of transfer students are evaluated by the Registrar to determine each student's test requirement. If a student needs the RJE, the student is flagged. Transfer students should check with the Registrar.

For the fall and sping test administrations, the testing center will post and email faculty and staff of dates and times each semester.

According to the law, students who do NOT take the required exams will not be allowed to register for classes at any Arkansas college or university.

Description:
The CAAP Exam consists of two parts, an objective part and an essay part. The objective part consists of one, 40-minute, multiple-choice test:. The Writing (Essay) test requires the examinee to write two essays on specified topics with 20 minutes allowed for each.

Test Specifics:
Fall 08
October 8-10
Writing Objective 9:30am - 10:45am
Essay 12:30pm - 1:45pm

Registration Procedures:

Once the RJE is taken, the flags are removed, and the tests become a permanent part of the official transcript. The scores on the tests are not put on the transcripts.

No registration is required for the make-up RJE given on the second registration day of the fall and only registration day of the spring semesters.

Score Results:
Score results will be sent to Henderson State University in approximately six weeks. The results will then be mailed to the students.
