Cadets from the Bayonette Battalion participated in the Fall Field Training Exercise at Camp Robinson, Ark., in October, 2004. Students from HSU and OBU joined students from the University of Central Arkansas, Arkansas Technical University, and the University of Arkansas--Little Rock in land navigation training exercises designed to prepare them for the Land Navigation challenges at ROTC Warrior Forge Advance Camp each year.
The highlight of the 2004 Fall FTX was students were transported from UCA to Camp Robinson by Blackhawk helicopters of the 114th Aviation Brigade. The aircraft landed at the UCA football field and were available for viewing by the campus staff and population before makeing a three-load run to the post.
