Access From:  Your Phone    Another Campus Phone    Off Campus Phone  

The new voicemail system will prompt you for an ID number.  Your ID number is your four digit phone extension.

Please note that if you have Microsoft Outlook running on your campus PC or via web access, voice mail messages will automatically be sent to your Outlook Inbox.  This means you may not hear the beeps indicating you have a new voicemail message.  To check your Outlook Inbox from off-campus, visit our Outlook Web Access page.

Accessing Voice Messages From Your Phone

  1. Call 5555

  2. Enter your password.  If you are setting up voice mail for the first time, your password is 12345.

  3. Follow the system prompts

Accessing Voice Messages From Another Campus Phone

  1. Call 5555

  2. Press * when the system answers

  3. Enter your ID (4 digit extension) and password when promted

  4. Enter * when the system answers again

Accessing Voice Messages From An Off Campus Phone

  1. Call 230-5555

  2. Press * when the system answers

  3. Enter your ID (4 digit extension) and password when prompted

  4. Enter * when the system answers again

  5. A list of option will play:

  1. Hear new messages

  2. Send a message

  3. Review old messages

  4. Setup options

 

For Outlook users, voice mail will also be received as an attachment to e-mail, allowing users to double-click the attachment and listen to their messages through the computer's speakers if they desire.

Outlook users who have set up their voice mail box may access their mailbox through Internet Explorer at the following address: http://voicemail2/saweb/aadefault.htm
