Community Education Center

The mission of the Henderson State University Community Education Center is to provide training opportunities to businesses, industries, and individuals in Clark County and the surrounding area. These programs are created to enhance skills that will improve quality of life for area citizens, and assure a well-trained workforce that will enhance regional economic growth. This mission is accomplished through collaboration with area universities, two-year colleges, specialized training providers, and economic development organizations.  

 

The Center hosts a wide range of training opportunities from computer skills to welding and Programmable Logic Controller classes. In addition to courses offered at the Community Education Center, customized training classes can be created to fit any new or existing industry need.  

 

The 8000 sq. ft. facility includes an 18 station computer lab, 4 classrooms, 2 additional meeting/conference rooms and a hands-on industrial maintenance shop.

Community Education Center will offer an Introduction to PowerPoint Computer Class on April 9th, 11th, 16th and 18th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
