US Department of Labor, Office of Disability Employment Policy:  ODEP's mission is to develop and influence policies and practices that increase the number and quality of employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

US Office of Personnel ManagementThis section contains recruiting information and resources for selective placement program coordinators, human resources professionals, managers and hiring managers.  

Job Accomodation Network:  Aids the employment and retention of workers with disabilities by providing job accommodations as well as self-employment and small business opportunities.

Ticket to Work ProgramOffers people receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) more choices and opportunities for getting the services they need to go to work.

Disability.gov:  The federal government website that provides quick access to national and local resources for people with disabilities and their families. 

Society for Human Resource Management:  The SHRM is an Alliance partner of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP). SHRM and ODEP work together to increase the employment of individuals with disabilities.

Enable America:  a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing employment among the 56 million Americans with disabilities.

American Association of People with Disabilities - A non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Americans with disabilities.  Website features employment opportunities as well as internships and fellowships, including one in Washington, DC. 

National Business & Disability Council - The National Business & Disability Council is the leading resource for employers seeking to integrate peopl e with disabilities into the workplace and companies seeking to reach them in the consumer marketplace. The Council offers job seekers with disabilities the opportunity to search a database for current job postings.
